2023-2024 Steering Team
Our leadership team is made up of women who have said "yes" to serving on our MOPS ministry team. Our Steering Members prayerfully design the course of our year and organize and lead each position's role for the MOPS year. These women are the "glue" that bind our small groups together in connection, discussion, prayer, activities and so much more.
Lead Coordinator
Sarah Winkler
My husband and I have been married for 14 years. We moved to Rock Hill from Virginia in 2014 and have a 3 year old daughter. I am a board-certified music therapist and prior to the birth of my daughter, I owned a private practice serving families of children with special needs. I now enjoy staying at home to raise my daughter. I am passionate about connecting with and supporting women to build community.
Assistant Coordinator
Kyla Bays
I have been married for 13 years to my pilot husband, Ben. We have three kids, 17-10-3. My 17 year old came with the marriage, making us a blended family. I've been a MOPS mom off and on since 2015, when we moved to Fort Mill from Cincinnati. I, however am a midwesterner at heart having grown up in northern Minnesota.
Having kids in all stages of life means you will often find me in my mini van running around town in my leggings and mom bun or my favorite hat.
Finance/Membership Coordinator
Blair Skelton
I am the new Finance/Membership Coordinator for the 2023-24 MOPS Season. My husband and I moved here from Georgia in 2013. We will be celebrating 13 years of marriage this August but have been together for 20 wonderful years. We have two boys ages 4 and 2 that keep me on my toes and very busy! I am currently a SAHM but in my previous life I was an Assistant CFO for a local hospital. I have always loved numbers and spreadsheets and I am excited to share my passion with our MOPS leadership team this year.
This will be my 2nd year participating in MOPS. Last year changed my life and brought me a wonderful community of women who helped me 'find' myself again during this season of motherhood. I pray that I can help future moms do the same as they join our group.
Hospitality Coordinator
Katie Cottingham
I love creating a backdrop for my friends and family to gather, celebrate, and connect, and I'm excited to put that passion to good use as MOPS Hospitality Coordinator this year! This will be my fourth year in MOPS, and I've gained some great mama friends through this community of women. I can't wait to see what this year holds for us!
Creative Activities Co-Coordinator

As we all have a journey in life, I’m thankful that mine has brought me to MOPS. I’m a mother/wife of a beautiful blended family with two boys and a daughter. I have a desire in life to help, connect, and love others while sharing my journey and learning through theirs too! Being apart of this organization you can do just that. As I team up with Kristen on crafts, we’re excited to build community through creativity. I look forward to meeting you!
Creative Activities Co-Coordinator
Kristen Clements
My family has lived in the Charlotte area since 2008 but didn’t make the move to the Fort Mill area until 2014. I am a former educator of 15 years who decided to stay at home once my second child was born. I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old and have been married for 15 years. I love being crafty, reading, and refurbishing furniture. This is my second year in MOPS and I will be serving as the one of Creative Activities Coordinators this year with Lindsey and look forward to connecting with and supporting women in the same walk of life.
Social Media Coordinator
Kristina Birke
I’ve been married to my husband, John, for 9 years. Originally from Long Island, we moved to Fort Mill from Fayetteville AR in 2020. Together, we have a 14 yr old son, a 6 month old daughter (and 20ish foster loves). Our pup Luna is never short on shenanigans.
I hold a few degrees and one day thought I’d make the world my mission field but God had other plans and foster care/adoption have become our family’s passion and mission. I consider myself a foodie, love baking and coffee (maybe a bit too much) as well as, being outdoors, reading, and being crafty/creative.
MOPs was such a support to me as we moved to a brand new place (during that dreaded 2020 year!) and I have loved being able to find community by being a part of this group.
This year I’ll be the social media coordinator which means I’ll be the face behind our Facebook and instagram pages. I can’t wait to meet you!

Once upon a time, I was in my mid-thirties, single, wondering if I’d ever know the dream of being a mother. Next thing I knew, I was leaving my corporate career, moving to NC, and then getting married, becoming a bonus mama to 5 teenagers and getting pregnant - all within about 9 months’ time, and right smack in the middle of Covid. Talk about a lot of change all at once! I spent the first year of this new life without any fellowship or local friends, thanks to the pandemic, and that was not easy. But then I found MOPS! My then 16-month old little bubba found friends, and so did I. It was miraculous!
Originally from upstate NY, I have lived in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and recently Tampa before moving here. I spent a significant chunk of my childhood in the jungles of Brazil with my family, and never looked back on loving all things foreign culture, languages, travel, etc. My husband and I love hosting, and our blend of Jewish and Italian genes make sure no one ever leaves hungry, haha.
I am passionate about helping people find their passion and purpose in life, facilitating connection, and helping friends find the silver linings and pockets of joy in life’s “sticky, struggly spaces”.
MOPS Mentor Mom Coorindator
Lori Keller
My wonderful husband, Gary and I celebrated our 37th anniversary in August. We have two grown children: our 31 year old son, David, is married to Christina and our 32 year old daughter, Tori, is married to Gregg and they have Brentleigh, our granddaughter who turns 2 this December. My family is originally from Florida but we have lived in the Fort Mill/Rock Hill area for almost 19 years.
I was not involved with MOPS as a young mother, but have truly enjoyed serving as a mentor mom. I have no doubt I survived being a mother of a preschooler by the grace of God and enjoy sharing the lessons, joys and trials I experienced along the way. I am honored to serve as the Mentor Mom Coordinator this year. My role will be to coordinate the mentor moms for each of our tables and to serve as the mentor mom for our leadership team.

My husband and I moved here in 2011 from sunny South Florida. We have planted our roots firmly in the Carolina's and have 2 girls ages 7 and 5. My biggest hobby is being crafty and handmade things are my love language. We are huge fans of all things Disney and try to visit our favorite castle whenever we can. We love planning adventures!
As the MOPS Kids Coordinator I am honored to support the program by providing a fun, creative, God centered environment for children to play and learn while their Mothers get the chance to socialize, network, learn and grow in their faith and parenting.
